I am becoming obsessed with making art on a scanner and manipulating it in my 'puter. This has been an obsession for a few months now. It adds another layer to the idea of the cut-up (Bryon Gysin & William S. Burroughs) Here is a historical piece on Bryon Gysin discovering the cut-up [HERE] Here is an example of one of my own scanner made sections for my novel "BLACK MOLD" (this section is forthcoming from MARY MARK PRESS GIVE-OUT series 2020) I'm excited by the way the text warps along the page, the way the text becomes a new form of language. The experiment continues.
